     Let’s look at some ways that will keep you motivated to EXERCISE regularly.

  



        


    Set a goal:
  • Setting a goal is very important as this is the first step that keeps you motivated towards your commitment. You should make sure that your goals are SMART i.e. you goal must be specific, what are you trying to achieve. It should me measurable. The target you have set for yourself how long will you take to achieve it? Also, your goals must be attainable. The goal you have set for yourself is it simple and easy that you will stay committed or you will give up at a certain point. In addition, it should be realistic. This means that the goal you have set up for yourself, will you be able to stay committed to it. For example, if you made a choice of running 5K a day will you actually be able to do that. Lastly, is your goal timely. This means that how wisely you use your time and achieve your goal.
    Schedule a regular workout time:
  • When making your weekly schedule, make sure to spare one hour each day for workout. This will help your body to be healthy. Morning is the best time when you should exercise because you start up your day with enthusiasm, you stay fresh and active all day. It is very hard to get out of bed, but you should take the initiative to set an alarm and start off your day with energy. You should make a routine and try to work out the same time every day.
  Think fun and variety:
  • By nature, humans need change and variety in their life to stay motivated. No matter how hard we are working we should add fun to our lives. Everyone is different. Some people like to stick with the same work out and some people change it often. It is a good choice if you add more variety to your work out each day. If you did running one day, the next day you can do uphill running or cycling. Another option would be to do a DVD dance work out. You can pick the dance style you want i.e. hip-hop, belly dance, etc. You enjoy your workout for the day. It’s good to challenge your body in unique ways as it will strengthen your muscles.
